What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on a device when someone visits a website. Similar technologies can store or access information in a browser for related purposes.
What this website currently uses
Our audit found that the BillWise website does not currently use analytics, advertising, social-media pixels or other non-essential tracking. BillWise does not set its own cookies for those purposes and does not use browser storage to remember marketing or analytics choices.
The site is hosted and protected by Cloudflare. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technical measures to deliver the site, identify malicious traffic and protect it from abuse. These measures are used for security and cannot be switched off through a cookie banner without affecting the website’s operation.
Cookie names and lifetimes can vary according to the security check Cloudflare considers necessary. Rather than list a cookie that was not present during the audit, we will update this policy if the site begins setting a consistent cookie that visitors need to know about.
Website forms and spam protection
The Free Assessment, Referral and Work With Us forms submit directly to BillWise. Cloudflare Turnstile distinguishes genuine visitors from automated spam. Turnstile may process limited technical information about the visitor’s device and connection and may use strictly necessary storage as part of that security check. It is not used by BillWise for advertising or analytics.
Why there is no cookie banner
A consent banner is required when a site wants to store or access non-essential information on a visitor’s device. Because this website currently uses no analytics, advertising or other non-essential cookies, there is nothing to accept or reject and no consent banner is shown.
If BillWise later adds a non-essential tool, it will be kept off until the visitor makes a choice. The website will then provide equally clear options to accept all, reject non-essential cookies and manage individual choices, together with a permanent way to change that choice later. This policy will be updated with the tool, purpose, provider and retention information before it is enabled.
Managing cookies in a browser
Most browsers allow visitors to see, block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary security measures may stop the site from working correctly.
